Unknown Mogilev-1918. At the fault
Museum of the History of Mogilev together with the collector and friend of the museum Oleg David Lisovsky (Augsburg, Germany) from October 31 to November 30 plans to hold an exhibition of photographs and documents “Unknown Mogilyov – 1918. At the fault.” Opening of the exhibition – 31 October at 17.00.
This exhibition will include a unique collection of photographs of Mogilev in 1918, taken during the deployment of Kaiser Germany’s troops in the city, original archival documents of 1918, household items and interiors, a collection of bonistics, etc.
1918 is a dramatic period in the history of Mogilev, when the city was a member of five states, passing through a change of civilizational eras – from absolute monarchy to democracy and the dictatorship of the proletariat.
