Fundraising for the rarity purchase

Mogilev History Museum has started a targeted collection of voluntary contributions for another rarity purchase. These are 2 small triangular silver ingots, which are called ‘poltinas’ (a half ruble coin) in written sources (The photo was taken from the Internet and is for informational purposes only). They were means of payment on the territory of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and neighboring Slavic lands. They are dated to the second half of the 14th – the end of the 15th centuries.
Funds can be transferred to the Museum’s charitable account or deposited in the donations cash box located on the 2nd floor of the Museum.
